Different types of blood vessels like arteries, capillaries and veins make a network to carry blood from the heart and circulate it through the body. Blue, gray or purple skin is a sign of circulatory related issues. This usually occurs on the extremes like fingers and toes.

Cardiovascular disorders and therapies are frequently accompanied with a variety of dermatologic signs. These signs can be used to facilitate a diagnosis of the underlying cardiac disease. Certain cardiac defects are correlated with single skin manifestations, like coarctation of atrioventricular (AV) septal .In some situations, the dermatologic manifestations comprise a component of a full systemic or vascular disorder that also entail defects in the cardiovascular system as another accompanying component.

Signs to Predict Heart Disease from Skin

·         Blue/purple color or net-like pattern on your skin
·         Yellowish-orange waxy growths on your skin
·         Clusters of waxy bumps that suddenly appear on your skin
·         Ends of your fingers are swollen and nails curve downward
·         Red or purple lines under your nails
·         Smooth, waxy lumps on your skin and painful lumps in your fingers, toes, or both
·         Brownish (or reddish) discoloration, usually on your sole(s) or palm(s)
·         Non-itchy rashes and fever
·         Rash, cracked and swollen lips that often bleed
·         Changes to your tongue, such as swelling or turning as red as a strawberry
