Can we Predict Heart Disease from the Skin Disorders?

Different types of blood vessels like arteries, capillaries and veins make a network to carry blood from the heart and circulate it through the body. Blue, gray or purple skin is a sign of circulatory related issues. This usually occurs on the extremes like fingers and toes.

Cardiovascular disorders and therapies are frequently accompanied with a variety of dermatologic signs. These signs can be used to facilitate a diagnosis of the underlying cardiac disease. Certain cardiac defects are correlated with single skin manifestations, like coarctation of atrioventricular (AV) septal .In some situations, the dermatologic manifestations comprise a component of a full systemic or vascular disorder that also entail defects in the cardiovascular system as another accompanying component.
